About Pinay Explorer

My friends have always encouraged me to write about the many things I have seen, heard, tasted, touched, and felt in my life.

My passion has fueled the curiosity and the amusement to discover, explore, and find the happiness in each of the things I encounter.

What are my passions?

Let me count the ways:

I love travelling - the places and the glorious food, the adventure it brings to my humdrum life. I see history, the stories of the ancient past. It brings me to another world!

I only read about this in my history books! Finally visiting the Stonehenge, in Salisbury Plains, England.

I heart the joys of parenthood - the little victories I celebrate with my kids, the sweet thug on my heart after every date, and the sentimentalities I feel when I see them grow...

Family bonding moments in Punta Fuego
I love marriage and the promises of ever after that it brings - the challenge of keeping my 'I Do', the lessons I am learning with every fight or argument, and the memories I made that I can cherish when I am old and gray.

I love my Lord Jesus Christ - the grace of forgiveness He always extends, the blessings from every simple or grand thing, and the love I experience from my moments with Him.

My goal is to make this site a source of inspiration, encouragement, blessing, and joy for you.

It is my sincere hope that the stories and adventures of my life, my family, my friends, and those around me will be a lamp in a stand.

For "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.

Therefore, consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them." (Luke 8:16,18)

One thing or another, I hope that this site will mean something to you. Learn with me through my faults and successes, hardships and victories, trials and triumphs.

Let us celebrate our journey through life: in our marriage, parenting, career or business, in pursuing our passions.
With my eldest son Miguel during his graduation from grade school.

Allow me to be your lifelong partner in our pursuit of happiness.

In Isaiah 40:13 "...but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not grow faint.

Explorers, Keep Walking...

A blessing of family from the Giver of Life

Keep Walking!
